A local trail

A person in my neighborhood just put homer up! hmmmm.....halloween!

Our favorite pillar

It was a 70 degree October day, I was in a tank top and knickers, but I had a short sleeve jersey and arm warmers in my pack, because I know all too well what happens when the sun goes away...

Last time I rode this trail, these guys were just turning red

In Golden, there are still some colors left, which seems funny to me since a few weeks ago we were in Taos, New Mexico riding through peaking aspens...

I missed the local trail we use to ride all the time. Today was different. Today I was alone, and I thought it would be lonely, but I had a gorgeous day, a functioning bike, and I wasn't going to let anything bother me. My bike is my therapy: it gets me out, it gets my heart is pumping, my mind is suddenly clear, and I feel alive.

Purdy sky

Saw these guys hanging out by the trail

The transition is nice, but the early evenings are depressing... (I love being outside)

The reward, a distinct IPA Anthony brought back all the way from California, just a few weeks ago
